A floating cube tailored specifically to the museum architecture determines the empty volume in which the work is realized by the visitor. Physical mobility is typically characterized as occurring in a space that would not impede the intention to move in any direction, particularly from an upright position. The work offers the visitor the possibility of consciously experiencing the loss of this broad degree of freedom which, on a daily basis, contributes significantly to our world view.
